On September 10, 2010, Boonton Troop 1 will celebrate 100 years of continuous service to the Boonton community.

Boy Scouting began in Boonton on September 10, 1910 when Boonton Troop 1 received their charter. Through the years, hundreds of scouts and leaders have joined together for adventure, comaraderie and duty to the community. Don't miss your chance to earn a place in history and to challenge yourself to new heights. Join the troop for an experience that will last a lifetime.

Boonton Troop 1 meets at 7:00 PM each Thursday in St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 Cornelia Street . If you are interested in becoming a member, a volunteer, have a community activity you would like to share with the troop or just have a question, please send an email to  .
